Jammu & Kashmir attacks: Vast search efforts are still being conducted to find terrorists

The Jammu and Kashmir police have unveiled sketches of four terrorists and declared a reward of ₹5 lakh for any information leading to the location of each of them if they are hiding in the upper reaches.

On Thursday, June 13, 2024, extensive search operations persisted throughout various Jammu and Kashmir districts, particularly in Doda and Reasi, with the aim of locating and eliminating terrorists implicated in recent assaults within the union territory, according to officials.

Over the past four days, terrorists have attacked four locations in the districts of Reasi, Kathua, and Doda, murdering nine pilgrims and a CRPF jawan while injuring seven security officers and numerous others.

During a confrontation with security forces in Kathua, two suspected terrorists from Pakistan were also slain, and a significant amount of weapons and ammo were found on them.

The J&K police stated in a post on X that the identity of the informant will remain confidential. Additionally, the public was urged by the Jammu and Kashmir Police to provide any information regarding the whereabouts of these terrorists by calling the following numbers:

The officials said that in the morning, search operations in Kota top, Gandoh, Chattagalla, and the surrounding areas of the Doda district were resumed by the Army, police, and paramilitary forces. On Tuesday and Wednesday, seven security personnel, including two policemen, were injured in separate gunfights with terrorists.
