Bees assaulted students on Sunday as they waited to take the entrance exam for the sixth-class enrolment at Adarsh-Vidyalaya in Kushtagi.
The students who had been attached were taken to the hospital and took exams there.
The exam locations were at Buttibasaveshwara High School and Junior college, Guruchannabasaveshwara High School, Girls’ Government Junior College (High School Section), Boys’ Junior Section (High School Section), Sangolli Rayanna High School, and Christian King Schools in Kushtagi.
Students were writing exams while receiving medical attention. students from various village including Hiremannapur, Taluvagera, and Nidsheshi of Kushtagi taluk, came to write the exam at Christian King School when the tragedy happened.
Bees from a hive on a tree in the premises of the school suddenly attached the students and parents gathered there, Among the many injured students, three were treated at the Kushtagi.
