
In 2014, automotive design engineer Shantanu Naidu created a novel way to shield straggling dogs from fast-moving vehicles. Known for his affection for strays, Ratan Tata took notice of his work. Tata became Shantanu’s supervisor, mentor, and personal friend in addition to investing in the project.
