According to Mercer’s Living Quality (City Rankings) Survey 2023, Hyderabad is the most liveable Indian city for the sixth consecutive year. In terms of cost of living, political stability, health care, education, infrastructure and socioeconomic environment, the city ranks 153rd in the world.
Hyderabad has been ranked among India’s best cities for quality of life in 2023 by global business consultant Mercer.
Other Indian cities included in the ranking are Pune (154), Bengaluru (156), Chennai (161), Mumbai (164), Kolkata (170), New Delhi (172), and Hyderabad (ranked 153).
Singapore tops the list of Asian countries and is ranked 29th overall. The city-state offers a clean and safe environment as well as an extremely effective infrastructure. The list includes several Japanese cities. Yokohama, an important center of the Japanese economy and culture, ranked 47th, Tokyo ranked 50th, and Osaka ranked 58th.
Auckland, New Zealand, is ranked third globally, highlighting its excellent quality of life in the Pacific region.
