12th Fail, with a rating of 9.2 out of 10, is ranked first among the top 250 Indian films on IMDb. The 1993 animated picture Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, Mani Ratnam’s Nayakan, Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Gol Maal, and actor R Madhavan’s directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect are the other four films in the list of the best five Indian movies of all time.

12th Fail has a rating of 9.2, which puts it ahead of some of the biggest and most highly anticipated Hollywood blockbusters of 2023, such as Gret Gerwig’s Barbie (6.9), starring Margot Robbie, John Wick: Chapter 4 (7.7), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (rated 8.6), Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer (8.4), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (7.9), and Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon (7.8).

With a global gross of Rs 67 cr, 12th Fail became the year’s unexpected hit. Since its Disney Plus Hotstar release, the movie has received additional praise and affection from viewers.
