Our lives are organized around employment in the modern world. We work, all we do is nothing but work. The standard 40 hours of work each week have increased to 60, 80, or even 100 hours. weekends also ended up being just like any other working day.

Health Risks From Overworking
you are lying to yourself if you believe that working 12 to 14 hours a day won’t have an adverse effect on your health. I’d like to address a few health dangers associated with overworking before we started.
- 60% higher risk of heart-related problems
- Chronic sleep debt
- Boosting stress
- Obesity
- Increased risky alcohol use
- Type 2 diabetes
These are only a handful of the numerous drawbacks that result from overworking. But I believe you got the point.
The 8-8-8 Rule
Many people have found balance in their lives because of this one rule. I recently start adhering to this guideline and noticed results immediately away. The 24 hours we have each day are symbolized by the 8-8-8 rule. We must divide the 24 hours into three segments in order to live a balanced life.
8 Hours of work (1/3)
The first portion of the rule instructs us to labour for exactly eight hours each day and no more. If you use good time management this is entirely feasible. And here are some pointers that can assist you in doing it.
# Follow the 80/20 rule.
Another rule, but oh well. Known as Pareto Principle this rule stated that just 20% of actions produce 80% of the outcomes. Focus on the action that produces the best results by identifying them. Leave the rest out.
# Measure Effectiveness
Start off by putting an hour of your best work. Find your flaws and work to overcome them. Try out fresh methods and look for equipment that will speed up your task. Do everything you can to make that hour better. Use it for the following 7 hours once you’ve reached the hour that is the most productive.
# Learn to Say “NO”
Saying yes to anything is simple, but refusing something is much more difficult. Don’t make your eight hours a day that simple: instead, learn to refuse more frequently. for instance, if your plate is already full today, politely decline anything that is offered to you.
The Difference between successful people and very successful people is that people say ‘no’ to almost everything.

8 hours for you (2/3)
You have finished your work for today. This 8-hour round is exclusively for you and will begin right now. Each one of us has some pastime. During this time of the day, enable it. writing, reading, playing the guitar, watching a movie, hanging out with friends, or going to the gym. I would advise going out and discovering new things. Things you always wanted to do, but have never done it before.
This time is all about focusing on private life. Doing things that will reduce stress and boost your health. Also. things that will bring you joy and make you feel alive.
8 hours of sleep (3/3)
Every doctor and body of medical research agrees that an average person needs 8 hours of sleep per day. It is that time of day when you need to recharge so that you can face the next. A regular 8-hour sleep cycle is important for good health. There isn’t much I can say here; all you need to do is sleep considering this seriously.
