Amaravati would serve as the new capital, as said earlier in 2015 by the then-CM N Chandrababu Naidu. Amravati, Visakhapatnam and Kurnool would be the three capital cities in the state by 2020.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court ordered the government to develop Amaravati, which has been the epicenter of a land scam, in March of last year after ruling against three capitals.
