In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the BJP is headed for victory, but in Telangana, the Congress is expected to unseat the BRS.
The nation is holding its breath as the results of the highly awaited Assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh are just hours away. These elections are seen as the semi-finals for the forthcoming Lok Sabha in 2024.
Madhya Pradesh is ruled by the BJP, whereas Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh are ruled by the Congress. The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), led by K Chandrashekhar Rao, has ruled Telangana for ten years, whereas the MNF is in charge of Mizoram.
As of right now, the Indian National Congress (INC) appears poised to unseat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BRS) in Telangana, while the BJP is headed towards victory in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.
Previous polls indicated that the Congress would easily win the majority in Telangana and that the BJP would win handily in Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, it foresaw the Congress holding a lead in Chhattisgarh and the BJP holding a lead in Rajasthan. While the general patterns remained consistent, the outcomes from Chhattisgarh were unexpected.
Exit Polls Prediction: According to the Poll of Polls, the Congress was expected to win 102 seats in Madhya Pradesh, while the BJP was predicted to win 124. There are 230 seats available.
Current Trends: Out of 230 seats, the BJP has accelerated and surpassed 160 seats already. Congress is behind by 66 seats. The findings point to the BJP having a commanding advantage.
Exit Polls Prediction: The Poll of Polls in Rajasthan projected that the 30-year trend would continue, with the BJP easily winning 104 seats and the Congress-led alliance expected to capture 85 seats. There are 200 seats available. However, because Gurmeet Singh Koonar, the Congress candidate running for the Karanpur seat in Sriganganagar, passed away, the votes will only be counted for 199 seats.
The BJP has surpassed expectations, securing 112 seats, while the INC and its alliance lags behind at 72. The current results indicate a significant lead for the BJP.

Exit Polls Prediction: According to the Poll of Polls, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samith (BRS) would receive 44 seats, leaving the Congress party with an estimated 62 seats. There are 119 seats available in total.
Current Trends: As of right now, the Congress and its coalition possess 64 seats, the BRS 41, and the BJP and its coalition 8 seats. As the exit polls indicated, a clear majority in Congress seems certain.
Exit Polls Prediction: The Poll of Polls predicted that the BJP will end up with 38 seats and predicted that the Congress would win in Chhattisgarh. There are ninety chairs in all.
Current Trends: With the BJP holding 55 seats and the Congress holding 32, the real results present a different picture. In Chattisgarh, the BJP and Congress are in a close race, and the state has shown to be the least predictable.
