The fictional band Daisy Jones & the six is the focus of the much-awaited Daisy Jones & the six Amazon Prime Video series. Reese Witherspoon, the series’ co-producer, was drawn to Taylor Jenkins Reid’s New York Times bestselling novel after it broke #BookTok.
In the series, a popular rock band’s dissolution is depicted in the style of a “rockumentry,” complete with dramatic love triangles, sex, drugs, and of course, rock ‘n’roll, using an oral history format.
On Thursday, “Daisy Jones & the six” made a big sensation with the publication of the album “Aurora” which was prepared specifically for the show.
“Aurora is here at last. In a statement, Reid referred to the album as “a gorgeous, nostalgic, timeless album that captures the drama, tragedy, and yearning of the band’s apex and nadir all in one. “A perilous and intoxicating glimpse of time. The mouthwatering moment you know won’t last. The Six and Daisy Jones are real. And they surpass my highest expectation.
The actress, who is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and the king of rock ‘n’ roll himself, revealed, “I auditioned like everyone else and lie to them and told them I could sing,” according to people. She is the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley.
The co-showrunner and co-creator of the series, Scott Neustadter, disclosed this week in an interview with The Time’s screen Gab that the band went through an 18-month band camp before to production.
He said, “It was meant to last a couple of weeks. “But, due to Covid, we were unable to launch our production on schedule, and the three-week band camp morphed into an 18-month endeavor. The actors were a rock band by the time we began filming in the fall of 2021, not simply a good imitation.
