Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram will go to pates on different days from November 7- 30 and votes will be counted for the five countries on December 3, the Election Commission said on Monday, setting the stage for the 2024 Lok Sabha pates semi-finals.
Nearly 16 crore choosers would be eligible to cast their votes in these choices, Chief Election Commissioner( CEC) Rajiv Kumar said at a press conference while asserting that strong measures are being put in place to make these pates persuading-free.
While Congress is in power in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh is ruled by BJP, Telangana by Bharat Rashtra Samithi and Mizoram by Mizo National Front( MNF).
During the press conference, Rajiv Kumar said these five states will have 1.77 lakh polling stations, of which 1.01 lakh will have webcasting installation.
Further than 8,000 polling stations will be managed by women, he said. Voting for Congress means throwing the vote in tip, BJP general clerk Kailash Vijayvargiya has said voting for Congress is like throwing the vote in the tip , drawing a sharp response from the opposition party which nominated his reflections as an” personality” to the electorate.
Vijayvargiya is the BJP seeker from Indore 1 seat for coming month’s Madhya Pradesh assembly pates.
“Today, the country, Madhya Pradesh and Indore need Bharatiya Janata Party. There are BJP governments in the country, state and city. What is the meaning (of) voting for Congress? Voting for Congress means throwing it (the vote) in the dustbin kept at home?” he said while speaking at a program here on Sunday night.
Strengths Three- time Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s mass connect, strengthened further by a methodical outreach programme, gives the party another shot at power.

Despite being sidelined in the state, former deputy minister Sachin Pilot’s seductiveness still counts. He remains a crowd- sculler, particularly among the youth.
Since dissension between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot has been out in the open throughout the Congress term. The current armistice may not be enough to neutralize the damage.
Openings Restoration of the Old Pension Scheme, divisions within BJP particularly if Vasundhara Raje’s sympathizers don’t throw their weight into the BJP crusade; Congress also gains in some sections if it manages to move choosers that the BJP at the Centre isn’t prioritising the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project.
Pitfalls Anti-incumbency, collaborative violence, the presence of Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM on the Rajasthan bean scene could resolve the Muslim vote in some constituencies.
Recently formed Bhartiya Adivasi too can make it tougher for the party in the ethnical belt. A fierce competition among parties to offer gifts and guarantees, a scramble for ethnical, OBC, women votes and a touch of Hindutva – all have combined to make the Madhya Pradesh assembly pates a high- stakes battle with main rivals BJP and the Congress pulling out all the stops to gain power in the election.
After a close contest in 2018, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party( BJP) and the opposition Congress are marshalling all coffers at their disposal to notch a clear maturity in the 230- member House to avoid post-result complications.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is on a gifts publicizing spree, substantially targeting women, and playing tabernacles- centric Hindutva card, while state Congress president Kamal Nath is fighting his rival’s charities with his own pre-poll guarantees and inviting OBC choosers in the election.
With a long history of bipolar politics, dominated by the Congress and the BJP, Madhya Pradesh– located in the geographic heart of India– will also see the Aam Aadmi Party( AAP) trying to make its presence felt in the state this time around.
