The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received the property from Queen Elizabeth II as a wedding present in 2018.
According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been informed that they must leave Frogmore Cottage because Price Andrew will soon be moving in.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received the estate from Queen Elizabeth II as a wedding present in 2018. However, after spending a lot of money restoring Frogmore Cottage. the couple only stayed there for a short period of time before leaving their position as senior working royals and relocating to the US.
Despite Harry and Meghan staying there during their brief trips to the Kingdom, the house has largely remained empty since that time. In Frogmore Cottage, the couple also celebrated their daughter’s first birthday the previous year.
The Duke and Duchess are apparently arranging to have the rest of their goods sent to their Californian residence after King Charles III ordered them to leave the property completely.
Prince Andrew is reportedly planning to move into the house, according to the newspaper. He presently lives in the Royal Lodge with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, but Andrew won’t likely be able to pay for the upkeep of the home now that King Charles is rumored to be planning to reduce his brother’s income. But it doesn’t appear like Andrew is too excited about the suggestion.
The Source continued, “Andrew is rejecting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week. But, it demonstrates that Harry and Meghan are helpless to halt the eviction.
The Duke and Duchess have previously stated that by keeping Frogmore Cottage, “their family would always have a place to call home in the United Kingdom.
The assertion that Harry and Meghan have been ejected from Frogmore Cottage has not yet been confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
