Boeing’s commitment to India’s infrastructure and pilot training programs is demonstrated by this $100 million investment.

By building its largest factory outside of the United States right here in Bengaluru, Boeing India is poised to significantly advance its national operations.

The 43-acre project at Devanahalli’s expanding Aerospace Park, close to Kempegowda International Airport, is the result of a massive Rs 1600 crore investment. But that’s only the start.

By utilizing this new facility, Boeing hopes to increase its annual target for sourcing from India from Rs 8000 crore to Rs 10,000 crore.

Boeing made the smart decision to establish the expansive site at Devanahalli at a time when Bengaluru is seeing exponential growth to the north. Devanahalli is quickly evolving into the city’s new centre, mostly as a result of its close proximity to Kempegowda International Airport.

The upcoming Blue metro line, which will connect KR Pura with Yelahanka and the airport and greatly improve the area’s accessibility and convenience, is one of the contributing factors.

These changes have expanded the region’s housing supply and work prospects, making it the perfect location for Boeing’s new largest headquarters.

India’s operations are widespread, despite having a national headquarters in Delhi. In Mumbai, Hindan, Rajali, and New Delhi, it currently has field service offices.

A rapidly growing Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) is also located in Bengaluru and Chennai.

Following Air India’s solid orders for more than 200 jets from earlier this year, this decision was made. 20 787 Dreamliners, 10 777Xs, and 190 737 MAX narrowbody aircraft were on the shopping list.

Due to this action, Boeing dedicated $100 million to infrastructure and pilot training initiatives in India.

Such development and investment are building the groundwork for future expansion for Boeing’s business in India.
