The Famous World Cup trophy was launched into space on a specially made stratospheric balloon before touching down in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium.

By releasing the trophy 1,20,000 feet into the stratosphere to begin the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour 2023, the International Cricket Council made a big impression.

The trophy will visit 18 countries over the coming months including Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, the United States, Nigeria, Uganda, France, Italy and the host nation India.

It should be mentioned that the coronavirus pandemic forced certain limits in prior years, making this the first full-scale Trophy Tour since 2019.

4K cameras mounted to the stratospheric ballon recorded videos of the award sitting on the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere as it travelled through stratosphere.

“Cricket unites India like no other sport, and excitement is growing throughout the nation as we get ready to host the 10 best teams in the world for six weeks of nail-biting cricket,” BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said.

The Trophy Tour is a terrific opportunity for supporters to participate in the tournament wherever they are as we approach the World Cup.

The Tour will cover a large portion of India and aims to motivate people to enjoy the thrill of cricket’s biggest event while giving them a chance to see famous locations, cities, and landmarks across the nation.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour is a significant step in the lead-up to what will be the biggest Men’s Cricket World Cup history, according to ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice.

The legendary silverware will meet world leaders on this tour, as well as go to some of the most famous sites in the world and promote cricket development efforts.
