India’s passport is ranked 87th in the year’s Henley passport Index, up two spots from its 2022 ranking, which was announced earlier in the month on January 10.
The Index ranks national passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a previous visa and is based on data made available by the International Air Transport Association.
Japan tops the list of most powerful passports in the world. Providing access to 193 nations, while Afghanistan is ranked bottom on the list, providing access to only 27 nations.
