India broke their elimination jinx against New Zealand to extend their winning streak in the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. At Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, the Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by 70 runs to advance to the 2023 World Cup final.
India defeated the Kiwis in their first-ever knockout match in the ODI World Cup, breaking their jinx against them. India advanced to the ODI World Cup final for the fourth time in their history with this victory.
