A local resident discovered it and reported it to the police. As police arrived, access to the beach was blocked.
In Enshyuhama Beach in Shizuoka prefecture, a sizable metal ball was discovered early on Tuesday. The Japanese Coast Guard claimed they have not yet determined what kind of item it is.
A ball with a diameter of around 1.5 metres that was reportedly discovered on the beach on in the morning in Hamamatsu city’ Tsuboi district.
The discovery was reported to the police by a local citizen . Due to potential threat of an explosion, police who had just arrived at the scene barred access to the beach.
