On March 18, the tranquil Dal Lake area of Kashmir was the site of the first-ever Formula 4 automobile racing event in the Valley. According to a report by Rising Kashmir, sleek race cars screamed along the gorgeous Boulevard road, leaving thrilling trails in their wake against the breathtaking background of the Zabarwan Hills.

The thrilling occasion demonstrated Kashmir’s capacity to hold major sporting events while also showcasing the modernity and advancement of the area. According to the report, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri celebrated the event as a sign of the Valley’s progress and expressed hope that such efforts would improve Kashmir’s reputation, increase tourism, and stimulate the local economy.

Raja Yaqoob, Director of Tourism Kashmir, highlighted the area’s growing reputation as an adventure tourism destination and announced intentions to enable more exhilarating activities going forward. Yaqoob highlighted the event’s potential to develop local talent and inspire a new generation of sports enthusiasts with global aspirations, saying, “With events like Formula 4 , we are not only entertaining but also investing in the future of Kashmir’s youth and tourism industry,” as mentioned in the story.

As per the report, the inaugural Formula 4 car racing event’s success has established a precedent, indicating that Kashmir can host significant events that further the social and economic advancement of the Valley if given the necessary infrastructure and support.

Deeba Khalid, Deputy Director of Tourism, emphasized the event’s historic significance and its ability to increase Kashmir’s tourism prospects and garner international notice. According to the story, Khalid said, “This is a historic occasion for the Valley, showcasing our ability to host prestigious international events and attract visitors from all over the world.”

The first-ever Formula 4 auto racing spectacular left a lasting impression on Kashmir’s sporting scene as the sound of engines faded into the darkness, opening the door for further exciting competitions and enhancing the area’s reputation as a growing adventure and tourism destination.
