Along with 71 other ministers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the oath of office on Monday and assigned the Union ministers their eagerly expected ministries. This is his third term as Prime Minister of India. Eleven of the BJP’s alliance partners held ministerial positions, while other BJP officials lost them.

The JDU, TDP, Shiv Sena, LJP, and a few more parties are among the prominent National Democratic Alliance (NDA) supporters who received ministerial positions in the Modi 3.0 Cabinet. It is significant to note that, with 16 MPs from the TDP and 12 from the JD(U) in the Lok Sabha, the parties are essential to the continued existence of the BJP-led NDA government.

JDS, or HD Kumaraswamy: The Modi 3.0 Cabinet has selected HD Kumaraswamy, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, as the Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel.

Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu (TDP): The new Civil Aviation Minister is Kinjarapu Ram Mohan, who holds the Srikakulam Lok Sabha seat. He is the BJP’s Jyotiraditya Scindia’s replacement. Naidu is the TDP’s National General Secretary and the three-time winner of the Srikakulam seat.

Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani (TDP): Named Minister of State for Rural Development and Ministry of Communications, Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani is the wealthiest candidate to win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. His seat in the Lok Sabha is Guntur.

Ram Nath Thakur (JD-U): In the Modi 3.0 Cabinet, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ram Nath Thakur, a prominent figure in Nitish Kumar’s JDU, has been selected. Karpoori Thakur, the former chief minister of Bihar, is the father of Thakur, the leader of Janata Dal (United) in the Rajya Sabha.

Lalan, or Rajiv Ranjan Singh (JD-U): The Modi 3.0 Cabinet has given Rajiv Ranjan, also called Lalan Singh, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying.

Chirag Paswan (LJP-RV): The Ministry of Food Processing Industries has been assigned to Chirag Paswan, the leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). The Hajipur Lok Sabha constituency is represented by Paswan, who is the son of Ram Vilas Paswan, who oversaw the Consumer Affairs Ministry until his passing in 2020.

Shinde Prataprao Jadhav of the Shiv Sena: The only member of the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde in the Modi 3.0 Cabinet is Prataprao Jadhav. He has been designated as the Ministry of Ayush and Health and Family Welfare’s Minister of State (Independent Charge).

Jitan Ram Manjhi (HAM): The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises has been given to Jitan Ram Manjhi, the former chief minister of Bihar. He is the leader of the Hindustani Awam Morcha and represents the Gaya Lok Sabha Constituency.

Ramdas Athawale (RPI): In the Modi 3.0 Cabinet, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, the leader of the Republican Party of India, was appointed. Prior to this, he served as the Modi 2.0 Cabinet’s Union Minister of State for Social Justice.

Anupriya Patel Apna Dal (Soneylal): Anupriya Patel, a social worker and teacher, is the organization’s president and a representative of the Mirzapur Lok Sabha Constituency. She has been named MoS at the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers as well as the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Jayant Chaudhary (RLD): Jayant Chaudhary is the grandson of Chaudhary Charan Singh, the previous prime minister. He has been designated as the Ministry of Education’s Minister of State.
