There will be seven time slots available for Rashtrapati Bhavan tour from Tuesday to Sunday (excluding gazetted holidays.)
The tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan would be offered seven times between 9:30 a.m and 4:30 p.m. from Tuesday through Sunday (excluding gazetted holidays), it stated.
The Country President resides in Rashtrapati Bhavan, which was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Hebert Baker, The H-shaped structure which spans 5 acre on a 330-acre estate, was designed by Sir Lutyens.
According to Rashtrapati Bhavan, this residence contains a total of 340 rooms distributed over four levels, 2.5 miles of hallways, and 190 acre of lawn space.
Three circuits make up the voyage through this work of art. Circuit 1 takes in Rashtrapati Bhavan’s main structure and central lawn, as well as some of its most prestigious rooms, including the Ashok Hall, Durbar Hall, Banquet Hall, and its drawing rooms, among many other.
While circuit 3 (which debuts during Udyan Utsav) promises a tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan’s renowed gardens, including Amrit Udyan, Herbal Garden, Musical Garden, and Spiritual Garden, Circuit 2 consists of a tour of the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum complex.
Currently, circuit 1 can be visited for five days, from Wednesday to Sunday, and circuit 2 can be visited every day but Monday.
According to statement made by the President Secretariat, the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex is also open to tourists from Tuesday to Sunday (apart from gazetted holidays).
Every Saturday from 8 to 9 a.m , people can see the changing of the guard at Rashtrapati Bhavan’s forecourt, according to the statement.
The statement continued. “The ceremony will not take place on Saturday if it is a gazetted holiday or if Rashtrapati Bhavan so notifies.
