Following their raid, the police found 250 grams of concentrated cannabis and 0.25 grams of LSD. On Saturday (May 11th), a 30-year-old Russian national by the name of Mikhailuk was taken into custody for drug sales on Gurugram, India’s Golf Course Road.
He has been offering concentrated cannabis, also referred to as Charas, and lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) for sale.
The police said that they recovered 0.25 grams of LSD and 250 grams of concentrated cannabis. They conducted a raid and an arrest was made following a tip.
According to a senior police officer, Mikhailuk is being questioned in order to track down the narcotics trail. They were also checking his passport and visa.
Mikhailuk entered India six years ago on a tourist visa and overstayed his stay, even after his visa expired, according to findings released on Saturday. Police that since then, he had been residing in various Himachal Pradesh areas.
According to the allegation, the man would travel from Himachal Pradesh to Gurugram and sell drugs to anyone happened to stop by roadside food stands at night.
Mikhailuk was the subject of a formal complaint filed at the Sadar police station in Gurugram under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. There is currently an ongoing investigation into the case.
