According to reports, Shailesh Lodha has prevailed in his legal battle with the creator of his old program Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. According to a report in the ETimes, Asit will give the poet-actor 1.05 crore rupees. After 14 years of productive participation as the comedy program’s titular writer, Shailesh left the show last year.

According to the article, Asit was sued for failing to pay his debts, and he has since agreed to pay the actor a total of Rs. 1.05 crore by demand draft. After the producers failed to pay Shailesh, he turned to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to get his debts cleared. The report also stated that the actor’s and producer’s attorneys agreed to settle the case.

He also made a passing reference to the issue that may have led to his departure from the program and informed the newspaper that the producer had required Shailesh to sign some documents with restrictions on his ability to speak with the media. “I refused to submit to the arm-twisting. Shailesh also informed the daily that shortly after he filed his lawsuit, the producers phoned an actor and paid him what had been overdue for three years without mentioning anyone.
Shailesh has appeared in programs including Comedy Circus, Waah Waah, and Kya Baat Hai in addition to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, one of the most watched and well-liked comedy programs on television, has been broadcast on SAB TV since 2008. Taarak Mehta was played by Sachin Shroff when Shailesh left the program in April 2022.
