Since its release in theaters, Ajay Devgn and Madhavan’s supernatural horror flick “Shaitaan” has been making a lot of money. The movie has earned more than Rs 100 crore globally and is still playing in theaters. It is encouraging to see that “Shaitaan” has been making more over Rs 6 crore net during the week in India, according to trade estimates.

At the domestic box office, the freshly released movie is now targeting a net worth of Rs 80 crore. ‘Shaitaan’ reportedly made over Rs 87.55 crore (gross) in India and Rs 20.45 crore abroad in just five days.

The movie is expected to have made Rs 6.25 crore net on March 14 in India. The second weekend of the collection’s theatrical release is probably going to see an uptick.

On March 14, “Shaitaan” had an overall occupancy rate of 13.08 percent in India. Both reviewers and viewers have given the movie mixed reviews.

The screenplay and story for the Vikas Bahl-directed movie were written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Krishnadev Yagnik, respectively. Anngad Raaj and Janki Bodiwala both have significant roles in the movie.

In case you missed it, “Shaitaan” is the official reimagining of the Gujarati movie “Vash.” On March 8, 2024, it debuted in theaters to much anticipation.
