Containing a one-lakh-square-foot hospital and medical research center that is outfitted with cutting-edge equipment, including an OR1 system for real-time video conferences during surgeries and blood plasma separation, an ICU, an MRI, a CT scan, an X-ray, an ultrasound, a dental scalar, lithotripsy, and dialysis.
In order to create sustainable reserve populations and replenish natural habitats, the Vantara Rescue and Rehabilitation Center has started conservation breeding initiatives for seven endangered species. This will help save these species from going extinct.
The Vantara (Star of the Forest) program was jointly introduced by Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation. It is a unique effort that focuses on the rescue, treatment, care, and rehabilitation of injured, abused, and threatened animals worldwide. Vantara, which is situated on 3,000 acres inside the Green Belt of Reliance’s Jamnagar Refinery Complex in Gujarat, hopes to make a major contribution to international conservation initiatives.
Vantara has given new life to over 200 elephants, 300 large cats, including tigers, lions, jaguars, and leopards, 300 herbivores, like deer, and over 1,200 reptiles, including crocodiles, snakes, and turtles, all under the direction of Anant Ambani, a director on the boards of RIL and Reliance Foundation.
