41 workers were effectively removed from the Silkyara Uttarakhand Tunnel collapse site on Tuesday.
On Tuesday night, all 41 construction workers who had been stranded in the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, for over two weeks were finally freed. According to officials, every employee survived the experience in good health.
Prem Chand Aggarwal, the minister for Uttarakhand, stated on Wednesday that all 41 of the employees who were saved after 17 days are currently doing well and are delighted.
Union Minister VK Singh and Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the rescued workers, who were dressed in orange marigold flower garlands.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended the bravery and perseverance of the stranded workers and their families as well as the bravery and tenacity of the rescue workers after the safe evacuation.
After being successfully saved, the rescued workers spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone.
Following the successful rescue of 41 employees from the collapsed Silkyara Tunnel, Rescue Officials Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, and Union Minister of State VK Singh were accompanied by rescue personnel.
Each had a checkup at a makeshift medical camp in the tunnel entrance before emerging to the cameras and crowds and being driven away in ambulances.
Eight guys from Uttar Pradesh, fifteen from Jharkhand, two from Uttarakhand, five from Bihar, three from West Bengal, five from Odisha, two from Assam, and one from Himachal Pradesh are among the forty-one men.
