The National Council of Educational Research and Training( NCERT) should consider replacing the name ‘ India ’ with ‘ Bharat ’ in handbooks and introduce ‘ classical History ’ rather of ancient History in the class, a high- position commission for social lores’ speaker CI Issac said on Wednesday.

The panel chaired by Issac was among the 25 panels formed by the NCERT in December 2021 to prepare position papers on colorful subjects and themes.
